I leave for the World Race today! I finished packing last night and honestly do not know how I got everything I need for the next 9 months to fit in my bag. I am super excited to get to training camp and see what the Lord will do. I know He will do great things for me and my squad, and I am just expectant to see what all happens. I also can’t wait to meet all the people I will be living with for the next 9 months. Please pray for me and my other squad mates as we arrive that we can all arrive safely and ready to go. Also, please pray for me and my squad over the next month to have a good training camp and that the Lord shows up in amazing ways.

I am also excited to inform everyone that I am fully funded for my race! Praise the Lord! Thank you so much to everyone who supported me and is partnering with what God is doing through me. I am so humbled by God and his provision. He provided in some crazy ways that I would not have expected. I set a goal to be fully funded before I left for my trip, and by the grace of God, that goal has been met. God is so good! I’m so excited about this crazy adventure God is taking me on, and I’m so glad I have your support.

Blessings

My name is Clayton Haynes and I am currently a senior at Parkview High School in Atlanta, Georgia. I surrendered my life to Jesus during my junior year, and since then I have been blessed to be able to lead a house church for my high school and serve at my local church, Grace Christian Fellowship, as an intern and middle school small group leader. I am very excited to see how God will continue to move in my life as I take on the World Race this coming fall!
